29-year-old PL forward flattered by Liverpool transfer talks

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez has welcomed reports that the likes of Man United and Liverpool want to secure his services during the summer transfer window.

The Mexico international has been in stunning form during the 2019-20 season, founding back of the net 22 times and providing 10 assists in 44 games in all competitions.

A host of teams, including Man Utd and Liverpool, have been credited with an interest in the Mexico international star, who has revealed that he is flattered to be rumoured with some of top teams from Europe.

“It’s something very cool. I don’t know if they are true, they are rumours. Since they are talking about me, different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool. They are teams that in the history of football are important,” Jimenez told Bolavip.

“It’s an incredible thing to be on the radar, and on the lips of those teams. It’s something good to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, give even more to achieve it.”

Raul Jimenez’s existing contract at Molineux is set to run until the summer of 2023 and it will cot around £30m for Liverpool and Man Utd to lure him away from Nuno Espasito’s side.
