£31.5m-rated Liverpool target eyes January exit from UCL giants

A German outlet Bild reports that Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller is eager to seal a transfer away from the Allianz Arena when the transfer market reopens in January.

Back in 2017, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was questioned about the possibility of tempting the German striker to Merseyside. However, Thomas decided to decline the mega offers from the PL so that he can stay with the Bavarian giants.

However, the Bayern star’s situation has changed since then, and he is now interested in making a switch away from German football during the winter transfer market. Therefore, this could be Klopp’s perfect opportunity to land the Bundesliga sensation.

Thomas has featured in 10 matches for the German champions this campaign, scoring one goal while picking up four assists on all fronts. He is also vastly experienced at the international level, having made 100 matches for the German national side while registering 38 goals in the process.

The addition of a striker of Thomas’ calibre will undeniably bolster Jurgen’s attacking options significantly at Anfield. He won’t only add more goals to the Reds frontline but will also improve the overall depth of the club squad.

Muller could turn out to be the final piece in Jurgen’s Anfield jigsaw as he has the potential to tip the scales in the club’s favour in the Premier League title race. Hence, the PL giants will be foolish not to make a move for the German striker if he decides to part company with Bayern in January.
