Atletico Madrid defensive midfielder Thomas Partey reportedly still has his sights set on a move to Arsenal after the end of the current campaign.
The North London club are believed to have made signing the Ghana international midfielder their top priority in the summer transfer window.
Partey has a £44m release clause in his current deal and the player’s father revealed in April that talks over a transfer were ongoing.
Ligue 1 defending champions, PSG have since emerged as another possibility for the 26-year-old midfielder, however, Football.London reports that he remains keen on finalising a move to the Norht London club.
The same report claimed that Spanish giants may consider a swap deal with the Gunners, with Alexandre Lacazette making a switch to the opposite side.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have contacted La Liga giants Real Madrid about signing Eder Militao, according to a recent report.
The 22-year-old centre-half has had a torrid time at the Bernabeu since his arrival the previous summer and the North Londoners will reportedly attempt to bring him to the Emirates.
The Brazilian arrived at the Galacticos in a £44m move from Liga NOS heavyweights Porto last July.
But the former Sao Paulo prodigy has fallen behind Zinedine Zidane’s established centre-half pairing of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.
However, the Gunners will try and sign him in the next transfer market as part of Mikel Arteta’s new-look defence, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.
