Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly reignited their interest in securing the services of Arsenal midfield destroyer Lucas Torreira.
The ex-Sampdoria man was rumoured with a return to Serie A last summer, however, ultimately stayed at the Emirates Stadium where he has managed to found back of the net once and provided one assist in 24 Premier League games this season.
However, Torreira has supposedly not ruled out a move back to the Italian top-tier, and according to Corriere dello Sport, Serie A giants AC Milan remain keen on to agree on a contract for the 24-year-old.
The report also suggests that tbe Gunners asking price could prove to be a stumbling block for the Italian outfit, with the North London club supposedly set to demand €40m (£35.3m) for the Uruguay international midfielder.
Nevertheless, Serie A giants are reportedly willing to sell players to raise funds for a move, with the African midfielder Franck Kessie having been rumoured with a switch to Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United recently.
Torreira has played 74 games for Sampdoria before making the switch to Arsenal in 2018, where he is under deal until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
