The agent of Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly has dropped a hint that the 26-year-old could depart from Old Trafford if his playing situation does not change, amid rumours linking him with a switch to Serie A giants, AC Milan.
Former Villarreal defender has not turned out for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side since a fateful 6-1 home loss against the Spurs in October.
The Ivory Coast Internationale has been on the treatment table with a muscular injury in recent weeks, however, his agent Graziano Battistini has revealed that some serious thought must be given to an exit if Bailly won’t see a trust from Solskjaer.
Speaking to Calcio Mercato, Battistini said: “The boy is in an important context such as that of United, before evaluating an exit there must be absolutely valid situations.
“The Milan idea may have a logic, but we need to evaluate many implications, today we are talking about nothing. The experience with the Red Devils depends, as always, on luck, who you meet, on the opportunities.
“If he has the right chances, for me he can be an important player to solve some problems of the team. If all this does not happen, it is clear that the situation will need to be assessed, but now it is too early to say certain things.
“My Spanish partners who manage him are cautious in all respects, but the boy is very focused on Manchester United.”
