The agent of Chelsea playmaker Jorginho has refused to rule out a summer departure for his client, who has helped Italy to reach Euro 2020 final at Wembley.
The 29-year-old playmaker was a vital player for the West London club during the 2020-21 season, founding back of the net eight times in 43 games in all competitions, however, his deal at Stamford Bridge has less than two years to run.
Joao Santos, who represents the Italian, has said that he is keen to speak to the Blues over a possible renewal, however, has suggested that a summer exit is a possibility.
“Proposals for the boy? Today, Jorginho’s valuation is around €50m (£42.8m). If a team arrives… Obviously he has made it to many finals,” Santos told Radio Marte.
“Did any club call me? Yes, but our first thought is to speak to Marina Granovskaia (Chelsea director) about the renewal. This is certainly a very important moment in his career, he has been waiting for it [Euro final] for 20 years.”
Jorginho, who has been rumoured with a return to Serie A, has found back of the net 17 times and provided four assists in 141 games for the Blues since arriving from Napoli in July 2018.
