The agent of Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu has rubbished the possibility of the Leicester City defender signing for Man City or Arsenal despite recent rumours.

Having starred for the Brendan Rodgers side since the beginning of the season, the centre-back has been rumoured with two of the club’s rivals.

However, representative Mustafa Dogru has claimed that Soyuncu is only focused on playing for the Foxes in their bid to remain in the top four and secure Champions League football next season.

Speaking to Radyospor, Dogru said: “Of course it’s perfectly normal for him to be involved in transfer speculation after his performances with Leicester City this season.

“However, we have no interest in this discussion. Both club and Caglar are looking to continue with each other. He is only focusing on the remaining of the season.”

The Gunners had been interested in Soyuncu before his move to the King Power Stadium in 2018.

Meanwhile, Unai Emery has been reportedly no longer a head coach of Arsenal after failing to secure the victory against German outfits, Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europe League tournament.

The North London club are without a win in their last six games in all competitions and were held to a 2-2 draw by struggling Southampton in the English top-tier while also failing to secure at least point in the Europe League the club made the decision to sack Unai Emery and Freddie Ljungberg has taken over the Spaniards job.
