Fulham and Bournemouth are in the hunt to sign Manchester United shot-stopper Dean Henderson, according to the latest reports.
He has hardly featured for the 20-time English champions this season, making just three outings in all competitions.
United are looking to secure the 25-year-old’s move away from the club and are prepared to pay at least half of his £120,000 per week salary.
According to The Sun, the Cherries are leading the race to land the 25-year-old on a loan deal but will face stern competition from the Cottagers.
Both sides have been promoted to the Premier League next term and are planning to add experience to their rosters.
Dean played a full season in the English top-flight for Sheffield United in the 2019-20 term during a successful loan stint.
But after being brought back to the Theatre of Dreams to challenge David De Gea, the Englishman has failed to usurp the Spain international, despite in spite of a brief period as the team’s No.1 last season.
After racking up 26 appearances last campaign, he has since fallen out of favour at the club with Erik ten Hag allegedly looking to sign a new number two and number three for the Manchester club.
