Kieran Tierney is allegedly not interested in quitting Arsenal during this summer’s transfer market despite suggestions that both Real Madrid and Barcelona want to sign him.
The Scottish star has again been a key player for the Gunners during the 2021-22 season, making 25 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and grabbing three assists in the process.
Both Los Blancos and Blaugrana are believed to be chasing the signature of the left-back ahead of potential moves in the upcoming window, with the La Liga pair looking to boost their rosters in the full-back zones.
However, according to football.london, the player remains committed to the project at the Emirates and has ‘no intention’ of seeking a transfer away from the club.
The report adds that Tierney is happy and settled in North London and will not depart until at least the end of his existing deal, which is due to run until the summer of 2026.
The 24-year-old has netted four times and contributed 12 assists in 87 outings for Arsenal since joining the capital outfit from Celtic in August 2019.
Elsewhere, Manchester City are allegedly set to beat Mikel Arteta’s side to the signing of Ghanaian talent Henry Oware.
