Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil will reportedly turn down the chance to depart from the Emirates Stadium this summer as he is determined to see out the final year of his current deal.

The 31-year-old German midfielder has not played a minute of Premier League football since the start of March and has not been included in for four of the Gunners six league games since the season resumed.

The North London club are believed to be keen to move the German this summer transfer window, however, according to The Sun, Ozil keen on to see out the final year of his £350,000-a-week contract.

The report suggests that the midfielder will then seek a move away on a free transfer next summer, with the MLS teams and Turkey both are keen on to lure him away from the Emirates Stadium.

As it stands, Ozil would be free to hold talks with prospective new teams in January.

The German playmaker has only found back of the net once in 18 Premier League games during the 2019-20 season, while he has provided just one goal and three assists in 23 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
