Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly both keeping tabs on Cruz Azul forward Orbelin Pineda.

The 24-year-old, who has previously been rumoured with a switch to Man City, has been capped on 21 times by the Mexican national team.

Pineda has managed to found back of the net eight times and provided seven assists in 68 games for Cruz Azul, since arriving at La Maquina from Guadalajara back in 2019.

According to 90min, scouts from Tottenham and Arsenal have been closely keeping tabs on the performances of the versatile forward as they consider making offers in 2021.

The report, though, suggests that the London pair could face stiff competition from the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Porto, Ajax and Everton if they were to make a move.

Pineda’s current deal at Estadio Azteca is set to expire in December 2021.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Doku could have joined Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea two years ago, according to the players father.

Belgian attacker became one of the biggest prospects in his country after debuting for Anderlecht at the age of 16. He has found back of the net four times in 24 appearances for them last campaign.

Over the summer, there were reports claiming Liverpool had outlined him as a top transfer target as Jurgen Klopp reportedly viewed him as a long-term successor to Sadio Mane.

However, Doku eventually moved to Ligue 1 outfits, Rennes instead. He signed a five-year deal after the clubs agreed a deal worth an initial €26m.
