Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka is set to sign an improved deal at the Emirates Stadium to reflect his increased status in the team, according to the latest reports in the British press.
As per a British tabloid newspaper the Daily Mirror, Bukayo’s strong start to his maiden season with the first team has impressed enough to ensure the Arsenal board offer fresh terms.
The report says that Saka is already well-liked around the team and is seen is being a bright person, having started the club’s last three matches in the English top-flight.
It also states that Saka is still waiting for an invitation to join the first-team players in the dressing room at the training ground, where there is a wing for academy stars.
The club’s young players are arguably the most exciting thing about the club at the moment and Bukayo has shown he has the quality to build a PL career for himself.
He and Joe Willock have led the way and the Gunners cannot afford to go through another era where their one of the most important talents is prized away.
Getting these prospects tied down is a good step in that direction and while it is important that Saka stays hungry and is not handed too much too soon, reflecting his status and display level is a good move.
