Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are all keeping a close tabs on Naby Keita’s contract situation at Liverpool, according to the report.
The Guinea international – who has endured another injury-hit campaign with the Anfield powerhouses – is following to become a free agent at the end of the season.
Keita can therefore open talks with foreign clubs in the winter transfer window as things stand, although the Merseyside Reds are believed to want to agree a new deal with the 27-year-old.
Jurgen Klopp supposedly believes that Keita is an indispensable member of his team when fully fit, however, the midfielder wants assurances over his playing time before putting pen to paper.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Keita will not discuss a new deal with the Merseyside Reds before January, and a host of teams are believed to be keeping close tabs on developments.
According to 90Min, all of Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal remain attentive to Keita’s contract situation and are weighing up moves for the ex-RB Leipzig man as a free agent next year.
The report suggests that Keita’s agents pushed the Meresyside Reds to offer the lynchpin fresh terms before the summer transfer window ends, and they were left frustrated when a deal did not materialise.
Now, the two parties are believed to have been left “deadlocked” in the situation, and Keita’s camp are aware that the 27-year-old will not be short of offers if he chooses to depart .
