Man Utd and Arsenal will reportedly both scouted Bayer Leverkusen forward Leon Bailey during Thursday’s Europa League clash with Slavia Prague where he has scored a brace.
The 23-year-old has been in stunning form for his German team during the 2020-21 season, founding back of the net five times and providing six assists in 14 games in all competitions.
Bailey has long been rumoured with a move to the Premier League, and according to the Daily Mail, scouts from both Arsenal and United kept close tabs on his performance in the Europa League in a 4-0 victory against Slavia Prague.
The report suggests that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are also expected to scout the forward ahead of potential approaches in 2021.
Leverkusen are in a good position when it comes to the Jamaica international’s future as the German giants have him on a deal until the summer of 2023.
The 23-year-old forward who largely operates as a right-sided winger, has managed to found back of the net 29 times and provided 21 assists since arriving at BayArena from Belgian outfits Genk back in January 2017.
Arsenal and Man Utd also keen on to strengthen their backline and eyeing move for wantaway Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti.
