Arsenal and Man Utd are reportedly contemplating an approach for Real Madrid talismanic defender Sergio Ramos.
Given his legendary status at the Los Blancos the club officials are keen for the 34-year-old to extend his stay and remain at Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Real Madrid have endured a disappointing start to the current campaign, resulting in contract discussions between the relevant teams still to reach a positive conclusion.
According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, the Red Devils and the Gunners are tempted to make an approach for the veteran centre-back in 2021.
With Ramos currently able to hold talks with foreign teams in January, Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus are also said to be keeping tabs on the situation.
Ramos, who has made 10 starts this campaign, has not featured for the Los Blancos since November 8 due to injury.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Man Utd have reportedly been informed by La Liga outfits Villarreal that it will take €50m (£45m) to prise Spanish centre-back Pau Torres away from the club.
The North London club are believed to be among a number of teams interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old defender along with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Reports from Spain claim that the Los Blancos are the favourites to secure services of the Torres, however, Arsenal and Man Utd are also still in the running to nab the 23-year-old.
