Arsenal could sign Ligue 1 winning box-to-box midfielder for free

Whilst Arsenal have shown that they are prepared to splash the money in the last few transfer windows, they’ve also believed to be keen to swoop when a potential bargain is available and if the North London club want to continue exploiting situations in the summer market, then there could soon be another young player available on a free transfer.

Next summer, Ligue 1 giants PSG box-to-box midfielder Adrien Rabiot could be someone who the Gunners look to sign as the French international has turned down a new deal with the French champions.

That means that the 23-year-old midfielder will be available on a free transfer after the end of the 2018/19 season and his manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he’s not sure if the Frenchman plans to remain at the club in the long term.

If Frenchman does hold firm on his decision to depart Ligue 1 giants PSG next summer, which looks likely, then the Gunners are surely going to be in the mix to secure his services and given his previous working relationship with Spanish manager, Unai Emery, there is a good chance that they could get him.
