Arsenal have reportedly opened transfer talks with Rabbi Matondo’s agents to discuss a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium when the transfer window will be re-opened.
Liverpool, Man Utd and Rela Madrid have all recently been credited with an interest in the talented forward ahead of the opening of this summer’s market.
The 19-year-old has only scored only one goal in 17 games for Schalke 04 this campaign, while he has featured on 24 occasions for the David Wagner’s side since arriving from Man City back in January 2019.

Matondo, who is capable of playing in a number of different positions up front, has featured in Schalke’s three games since the return of Bundesliga action on May 16.
The Welshman’s current deal with Schalke is due to run until June 2023.
