Ligue 1 outfits Bordeaux forward Malcom has fuelled speculation he is closing in on the move to the Premier League after revealing he has started to take English lessons.

The 20-year-old Brazilian forward yesterday posted a picture to his Instagram account that has shown that he was learning English, before later removing the post.

Brazilian attacker has been flying in Ligue 1 this campaign, founding the net for seven times and adding four assists to attract interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Red Devils apparently keept a close eye on Malcom in Bordeaux’s 1-1 draw with their bitter Ligue 1 rivals Marseille, according to La Provence, while Goal is claiming around Christmas that the player was applied by Jose Mourinho.

Arsenal are also believed to be keen on Malcom and according to Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, the Gunners are in talks to sign the player.

“I posted last week that Arsenal came into the fray for former Corinthians [player] Malcom,” he tweeted. “Today I hear that the conversations are progressing well.”

Bordeaux are believed to be wanting €60million for the Brazil Under-23 star.
