Premier League giants, Arsenal are reportedly locked in a three-way fight with Leed United and Wolverhampton Wanderers for the signature of Reading forward Michael Olise.
The 18-year-old talented forward made the breakthrough at the Royals during the 2019-20 season, ending the campaign with two assists in 23 games in all competitions.
Olise has already made four Championship appearances this season, meanwhile, contributing one goal and two assists during a stunning start to the season.
According to the Daily Mail, the France Under-18 international is believed to depart from Reading before the domestic transfer window shut on October 16.
The report suggests that Leeds Wolves and Arsenal are showing the strongest interest in the attacker, who spent time with both Man City and Chelsea during his youth career.
Olise only has little over 18 months left to run on his deal with Veljko Paunovic’s team.
Meanwhile, Arsenal out-of-favour midfielder Mesut Ozil reportedly received an £8m loyalty bonus from the team at the end of September.
The 31-year-old playmaker has not played for the North London club since March and has been told that he does not feature in Mikel Arteta’s plans for the future.
The Gunners tried to offload him in the current summer transfer window to shift his mammoth £350,000 per week salary, only for Mesut Ozil to reject any possible exit routes.
