Arsenal are reportedly planning to make a move for Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan.
The 26-year-old is a regular for the Spanish giants and has already turned out 19 times for Julen Lopetegui’s side in all competitions this season – registering one goal and providing three assists along the way.
The North London club’ pursuit of a creative midfielder is well-documented, and while the 26-year-old midfielder is not an out-and-out number 10, Mikel Arteta has supposedly taken a liking to him.
According to The Sun, Jordan would be open to make a switch to the Premier League, and the Gunners have been keeping tabs on the midfielder’s progress for the recent years.
The report adds that Jordan’s current contract at Sevilla includes a £55m release clause, however, Spanish giants may consider a sale if they receive a bid of £32m.
Jordan is contracted to Sevilla until the end of the 2022-23 season, where he has played 66 games and won one Europa League title since joining them from Eibar.
Arsenal are currently struggling in the Premier League despite the recent victory against their arch-rivals Chelsea.
Meanwhile, another Sevilla star Diego Carlos has been rumoured with a switch to Premier League with Liverpool eyeing a move for his services.
