Real Betis’s Guido Rodriguez is reportedly back on the radar of Arsenal as the midfielder continues to prove himself with Los Verdiblancos.
He was linked with the Gunners over the summer as the club looked for midfield reinforcements. Ultimately, the 27-year-old remained with his side.
The Argentine has played for the Seville-based outfit since they brought the player to Europe in the winter transfer market of 2020.
The transition was a simple one for the South American and he has been associated with making the next step for a while.
Last campaign, he represented Betis in 35 La Liga matches. This time around, Guido has so far made 10 division appearances from a possible 12.
Once again, he is being linked with a transfer to England. According to Fichajes, Rodriguez still interests the north London heavyweights.
Midfield is a zone they may need to replenish pair to Mohamed Elneny and Ainsley Maitland-Niles both wanting to depart in January. Furthermore, they’ll be missing Thomas Partey for a while because of the African Cup of Nations.
But the Spaniards are under no immediate pressure to sell a star under contract until June 2024. Therefore, it may cost more than €30 million to prise him away.
