Arsenal have reportedly identified Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Manor Solomon as a potential summer transfer target.
While Mikel Arteta stays on the lookout for the Winter transfer window, the Spaniard is focused on reducing the club’s first-team squad before the end of the month.
However, according to The Guardian, it has not stopped Mikel Arteta from assessing his options for later in 2021.
Arsenal are believed to have been scouting 21-year-old Solomon, who made an impression in the Champions League group stages earlier this campaign.
The Israel international scored home and away against La Liga giants Real Madrid, while he also netted four times in the Ukrainian top-tier during the second half of the year.
Solomon still has just under three years left on his current deal, leaving Shakhtar in a good position regarding his future.
Meanwhile, Man Utd and Arsenal will reportedly both scouted Bayer Leverkusen forward Leon Bailey during Thursday’s Europa League clash with Slavia Prague where he has scored a brace.
The 23-year-old has been in stunning form for his German team during the 2020-21 season, founding back of the net five times and providing six assists in 14 games in all competitions.
The report suggests that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are also expected to scout the forward ahead of potential approaches in 2021.
