Agent of Denis Zakaria’will not be leaving when the transfer window will be re-opened in January amid reported interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.
Both Premier League giants have been rumoured with the defensive midfielder who is attracting plenty of interest with reports from Germany claiming contact has already been made by Arsenal and Liverpool.
Ed Woodward is also believed to be keen to bring in the Swiss international as a replacement for Granit Xhaka who has been under fire at the club.
Arsenal are pondering using Granit Xhaka as a sweetener in order to convince Borussia Monchengladbach to sell him.
However, Zakaria’s agent, Mathieu Beda, has warned teams that they will have to wait until at least the summer as he has ruled out exit during the January transfer window.
“Denis will not leave Borussia in the winter, a change is 100 per cent excluded,” Mathieu Beda told Sport BILD .
“Denis is in very good shape in Gladbach and has been playing really well for weeks, but he still has more potential and he wants to show that in Gladbach now instead of dealing with a change.”
Tough-tackling midfielder Denis Zakaria, who has joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Young Boys back in 2017, has been crucial in their rise to the top of the Germany top-tier table ahead of the international break.
He has managed to found back of the net twice from 11 appearences and been a major presence in midfield before featuring alongside Xhaka in midfield as Switzerland beat Georgia National team on Friday and Griblartar last night.
He is under contract until the summer of 2022, however, has been the subject of mounting interest, from Europe.
Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been rumoured, as well as Serie A side Inter Milan.
