Arsenal have to meet £40m asking price to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka

As per the latest transfer news from England, Arsenal are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace breakout star Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners head coach Unai Emery is determined to add speedy players to his squad and has identified the 21-year-old Wan-Bissaka as a top summer target.

The English right-back has impressed this term and is being chased by several European top clubs. It is believed that Chelsea and Manchester City are also among the sides in the hunt, with Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Everton all interested.

According to The Sun, Unai Emery’s side have moved to the front of the queue to sign the Crystal Palace rising star.

The Eagles are willing to cash in and already have identified a replacement, having run the rule over Chelsea prospect Reece James – a 19-year-old who is on loan at Wigan.

Though Crystal Palace would be reluctant to sell their key player, they are willing to let Wan-Bisaka leave if potential suitors cough up in excess of £40m.

The Gunners take on Southampton this Sunday as they look to keep the pressure on Chelsea and Man United in the race for the Champions League places.

However, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not the only full-back on Arsenal radar. It was reported that Unai Emery is also keeping close tabs on Ajax Amsterdam defender Nicolás Tagliafico.

The 26-year-old Argentina international in enjoying an impressive campaign at Eredivisie giants and is expected to be on his move to a bigger club once summer transfer window is opened.
