Arsenal in advanced talks to sign Lyon’s 25-year-old forward

Arsenal are amongst English sides watching Moussa Dembele, with the forward approaching the final year of his deal with the Ligue 1 outfit Lyon, according to a recent report from Foot Mercato.

He has enjoyed another brilliant campaign in the French top-flight following his return from a loan stint with Atletico Madrid. The star has 10 goals in 20 games for his team.

In fact, Dembele now has 42 goals in 96 games in the division following his transfer from Celtic.

Unfortunately for Les Gones, the club are not in the strongest position. The same report says that his deal expires next year.

Peter Bosz’s side meanwhile, may be ready to sell for as little as £25m, according to the Daily Mail.

He’s enjoying a real purple patch right now. Dembele has now scored six times in his last eight Ligue 1 appearances for them. And the player has put a disappointing campaign last year behind him.

The striker is a player who can surely get fans out of their seats with his quick feet and pace. And he’s approaching what could be the peak years of his professional career.

Surely, if everything clicks for him at the Emirates, shelling out £25 million could be a brilliant piece of business from Mikel Arteta’s men.
