Arsenal have reportedly identified Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, as a surprise summer transfer target.
The 23-year-old has found back of the net 12 times in 32 games for the West London club during the 2020-21 season, however, is not thought to be in the plans of head coach Thomas Tuchel moving attacker.
A number of teams, including Aston Villa and West Ham United, have been rumoured with the Englishman, who still has two years left to run on his deal at Stamford Bridge.
Premier League giants are believed to value 23-year-old forward in the region of £40m, and according to The Telegraph, the Gunners are showing an interest, as the North London club look to strengthen their options in the final third of the field.
The report, though, suggests that Mikel Arteta’s side will have to part with some first-team players in order to raise the funds required to secure the service of the England international.
Arsenal are believed to be keen to move French forward Alexandre Lacazette on during this summer’s transfer window, while Eddie Nketiah is also allegedly available for transfer.
Abraham has found back of the net 30 times and provided 12 assists in 82 games for Chelsea.
