Arsenal joined race for world-cup winning winger

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all reportedly ready to battle for the transfer of struggling Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

The French forward has not been at his best since joining La Liga giants Barcelona from German outfits, Borussia Dortmund a few years ago, and it makes sense that his future now seems to be up in the air.

Still, with Frenchman’s stock falling after problems with both terrible form and fitness, Don Balon now reports that his suitors – Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea– would only be willing to pay around £67million for his services.

That would represent a big loss on Spanish giants initial investment in the 22-year-old French forward, and it remains to be seen if that will be enough to persuade the La Liga heavyweights to sell him.

They could be wise to cash in on France international forward while they can, however, as it doesn’t look like his problems are going to go away any time soon.

A fresh start could be just what the former Dortmund youngster needs, with Liverpool looking a more ideal fit for his style of play.

That believed, that the Merseyside Reds already have such a fearsome front three that it’s hard to see French forward getting much playing time unless he really hits the ground running.

The Blues could be a good option for Frenchman as they so badly need a replacement for Hazard that could make a big-money offer for him.

The Gunners would likely also be able to offer him a lot of playing time with Nicolas Pepe has been a big disappointment so far, while French forward Alexandre Lacazette has also been off form for some time.
