Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are among the clubs keen on acquiring the services of Sevilla whizkid Bryan Gil, who is also courted by Real Madrid and Barcelona, an exclusive report from the Spanish publication AS.
The Spanish winger has attracted interest from a number of top clubs across Europe, including Los Blancos and Blaugrana while Arsenal are also keeping close tabs.
The highly-regarded star’s current contract expires in June 2023, with a release clause allegedly worth around €50 million.
Sevilla, though, want to secure Gil’s future at the club by extending his deal and including a new buy-out clause – somewhere in the region of €100 million to €150 million.
They’re already in talks with the player’s agents over a new contract at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium outfit, serving as a huge blow for the likes of the Gunners, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
It only appears to be well deserved and appropriate following an excellent campaign that has seen the north London heavyweights’ transfer target become one of the rising stars in Spanish football.
The technically gifted attacker has already notched up 20 La Liga matches for Eibar, where Gil is currently on loan from Sevilla, scoring three goals and registering two assists in the process.
