Arsenal are reportedly keen on secure services of Watford midfield star Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The Frenchman has spent the last four campaigns with the Premier League outfits, playing 141 games in all competitions.
The 27-year-old’s current deal at Vicarage Road is set to expire until June 2023, however, he could be on the move during the summer transfer window following the Hornets relegation to the Championship.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are ‘lining up a swoop’ for the attacking playmaker, although the North London club might have to move both Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi in order to complete a deal.
Doucoure, who is also believed to be attracting the attention of Premier League rivals Everton, has managed to found back of the net four times and provided two assists in 37 Premier League games during the 2019-20 season.
Mikel Arteta’s side have also allegedly been offered the chance to secure services of Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho for a season-long loan deal, however, they will have to pay £9m in order to get the deal done.
Watford could lose another star Ismailla Sarr who has been rumoured with a switch to Liverpool.
The Hornets have been relegated from the Premier League and exit of key players seems to be expected ahead of the next season.
