Arsenal keen to bolster defence by bringing in £10m Wolves signing

Arsenal are setting their sights on a move for Wolves centre-half Willy Boly, according to the latest reports. The Gunners strengthened their options in central defence this summer transfer window as they signed David Luiz from the city rivals Chelsea.

But Unai Emery is keen to bolster his defensive options even further in the January transfer market. According to a recent report from The Sun, Boly is on Arsenal’s wishlist but Wolves will strive to keep the 28-year-old star at Molineaux.

Boly was signed in a £10m deal from Porto back in 2017 and played a key role in helping Wolves get promoted to the PL last year. He will have one year left on his contract with the club at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Calum Chambers has praised his teammate David Luiz for the impact he has made at the club after the South American scored the winning goal in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory against Bournemouth on Sunday.

‘David has been brilliant,’ said Calum. ‘He has come in and no-one in the club has a bad word to say about him. He is one of the nicest guys I have met, he talks to you, gives you advice and makes everyone feel like he is giving you his undivided attention.

‘Obviously he was won things and I haven’t won as many things as he has so there are things I can learn from him, it is always good to have experience like that in the team. Off the pitch, he is a great guy and on the pitch he brings his qualities and is playing well at the moment.’
