Arsenal reportedly still hold an interest in securing the services of Borussia Dortmund midfield star Julian Brandt and could consider a summer move for the 26-year-old.
Brandt has long been rumoured with a switch to the Premier League leaders over the past few years, however, he has remained loyal to German giants since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2019.
However, the Germany international is yet to sign a new deal with Dortmund is expected to become a free agent at the end of next campaign.
German giants, could therefore come under pressure to sell Brandt in the summer before he walks away for nothing in 2024, and he would seemingly not be short of suitors amid an eye-catching campaign for Edin Terzic’s team.
Brandt has scored nine times and provided five assists under his belt from 31 appearances in all competitions this season, founding back of the net eight times and setting up four more in 23 Bundesliga games.
The ex-Wolfsburg youth product had netted in four successive Bundesliga matches prior to Friday’s victory over RB Leipzig, and he has also made five starts in UCL this term.
According to German outlet Bild, Arsenal remain interested in securing the services of German attacker and keeping close tabs on his situation before making a move this summer.
