Arsenal have reportedly tabled an offer for Le Havre key man Pape Gueye.
The 21-year-old midfielder turned out 25 times for the Ligue 2 team during the 2019-20 season, however, Gueye’s current deal with Le Havre will ends at the end of June.
Premier League outfits Watford were previously believed to have won the battle for Gueye’s services. However, the playmaker has since confirmed that he will not be joining Nigel Pearson’s team during the summer transfer window.
As a result, Gueye’s future stays up in the air ahead of next campaign, and according to Le Phoceen, the Gunners have submitted an offer three times the amount from other teams for the Le Havre midfielder.
However, Gueye has supposedly turned down the offer from Mikel Arteta’s side as he is keen to further his progress in Ligue 1 before moving somewhere else.
Marseille, Nantes and Angers are all believed to be interest in the services of 21-year-old midfielder and ready to battle Gunners for his services.
Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid to extend loan deal for Dani Ceballos for the rest of the season as Mikel Arteta prefers him over Mesut Ozil in the pecking order.
