Arsenal are interested in landing Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona in the summer transfer market of 2021, according to Diario Gol.
The report in the Spanish outlet has stated that the former Atletico Madrid attacker has an offer from the north London side, as covered by HITC Sport.
The 29-year-old hasn’t had the best of times at the Spanish club, and it wouldn’t really be a surprise to see the Frenchman leave Camp Nou at the end of the season.
Arsenal are a big club, and if they are able to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season, then they’d be very appealing to the France international.
One suspects that Arsenal supporters will be delighted if Griezmann joins the team, and the star’s previous social media activity will encourage them.
In May 2019, he praised Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette on Twitter for his display against Valencia at the Emirates Stadium in the UEFA Europa League.
Griezmann plays with Alexandre for the France national football team, and Antoine was pleased to see him net two goals against Los Che.
Then in August 2019, he made the following post on the same social media platform, showing that he was taking charge of the Gunners on Football Manager.
In the meantime, Jeunes Footeux reports that Arsenal are keeping tabs on the Norwegian star Sander Berge.
He is one of few if any players of the Sheffield United roster who can hold his head up after this terrible campaign and considering that inevitability, some of their key players could be available for sale.
The Blades’ previously record acquisition penned a four-and-a-half year deal last year for around £22m, despite interest from sides across the continent, including Liverpool.
