Arsenal are allegedly ready to think about loaning out Folarin Balogun this upcoming transfer window if he continues to struggle for game time in Mikel Arteta’s senior team.
The Englishman has long looked an exciting prospect after rising through the Gunners’ academy, but it remains to be seen if the striker can work his way past some stern competition in the Gunners’ first-team.
In spite of suffering a dip in form, club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains the clear first choice in the final third, while there are also stars like Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli and Alexandre Lacazette for Arteta to choose from.
According to a report by football.london, this could see Folarin head out on loan in early 2022 if the situation does not improve by then.
Arsenal supporters will no doubt hope that he can either get into the senior team before then or at least find himself a PL club where he can gain experience and get the opportunity to show what he can do.
The 20-year-old ace would surely benefit from such a chance, and could then come back to the Emirates a better player, prepared to put in a stronger fight for a starting XI spot.
