Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly planning to sell midfielder and ex-captain Granit Xhaka when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.
The 27-year-old midfielder was recently stripped of the captaincy and Aubemayang has replaced him, given to him by Unai Emery at the start of the campaign, after his outburst at the North London club’s supporters during the game with Crystal Palace earlier last month.
Granit Xhaka cupped his hand to his ear and told the Gunners superstar to “f*** off” after being subjected to jeers and manager as he was substituted in the second half.
According to the Daily Mirror, it now seems a certainty that 27-year-old midfielder will leave during the January transfer window, with Germany his most likely destination.
Since joining the North London club from Borussia Monchengladbach back in 2016, Xhaka has managed to found back of the net 11 times in 144 games.
Meanwhile, According to El Desmarque reports, Dani Ceballos has met with Real Madrid chiefs in an attempt to move a step closer to sign a permanent contract with Arsenal next summer.
Ceballos has enjoyed an interesting international break. He initially suggested that he is happy with the decision to play at the Emirates Stadium instead of Santiago Bernabeu.
However, he then clarified to Marca reports that he is still determined to make the grade with Real Madrid upon his return.
However, reports have since claimed that Spaniard has indeed got one eye on sealing a permanent switch to the Gunners.
