According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor have put a £17.5million price tag on Arsenal target Yusuf Yazici.
Yusuf Yazici has already been attracting interest from across Europe due to his good performances for Trabzonspor.
Arsenal are said to be in the hunt for the Turkish midfielder along with Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Sevilla.
The Premier League giants have reportedly already made a £14m bid for the 20-year-old.
However, Turkish outlet Fotomac report that Trabzonspor have put a £17.5m price tag on the player and will not accept any lower offers.
Yazici breaks onto the scene at Trabzonspor last season after a long-term injury to Mehmet Ekici.
He has scored six goals and provide ten assists in 22 Super Lig appearances and is now a regular first-team performer for the Turkish side.
This term he has started in ten league games so far this season and scored in last week’s 2-1 win against Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Arsene Wenger is said to be a long-term admirer of the attacking midfielder and sees him as a replacement for the out-of-contract playmaker Mesut Ozil.
However, the French manager may have to wait before he can sign the midfielder after Trabzonspor chief Muharrem Usta confirmed that there were no immediate plans to sell.
Usta said in the interview with Turkish press,
“I want to see Yusuf here for our 50th-year-anniversary squad,”
“He will be sold when the right time comes. Yusuf will be an ambassador for the club and reach the highest level.”
Yazici is under contract until summer of 2022, having signed a new deal in March.
