Arsenal will reportedly attempt to make a move Alexandre Lacazette on next summer and hope to raise found close to £40m by sanctioning the French attacker’s exit.

World-Cup winning forward has only 18 months left to run on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, and it is unclear whether he is part of Mikel Arteta’s future plans as Spaniard has prefered Nketiah over him in the last campaign.

The striker has managed to found back of the net three times in seven Premier League games this campaign, while he has scored 51 goals in 136 appearances for the club in all competitions since arriving from Ligue 1 giants, Lyon.

Lacazette was rumoured with a move away from the North London club, during the recent transfer window, though, and according to the Daily Star, he will be available next summer.

The report suggests that the Gunners hope to raise around £40m by selling the ex-Lyon forward, with the money then becoming available to Arteta to invest in another player.

Lacazette is currently on a run of four Premier League games without a goal and has not actually scored in the league since the end of September.
