The 19-year-old’s forward was in doubt with his new deal up at the end of the current campaign. Balogun was linked a move to hosts of European teams including the Gunners arch-rivals Man Utd.

Balogun though, who shares an agent with Reiss Nelson,Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah has put pen to paper on a four-year deal..

Technical director Edu said: “It’s great that Flo will continue to be with us. He is a very promising young talent and has already shown so much quality in his performances. We are all looking forward to working with him during his continued development in the coming years.”

Arsenal in danger to miss out signing of Slavia Prague forward

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Slavia Prague attacker Abdallah Sima.

The 21-year-old, also attracting interest from Arsenal, as he has been in stunning form for Slavia’s run to the Europa League quarter-finals, as he has a total of 21 goals in 35 games this season.

The Manchester Evening News clams that if Slavia cashed in on Sima in the summer, he would be eligible for a governing body endorsement. Players must obtain a GBE from the Football Association before they can play for a new English team.

Sima attained his first Senegal cap against the Democratic Republic of Congo earlier last month and has played 29 games for Slavia this term. He was an unused substitute in their 4-0 defeat against Arsenal.

United’s interest in Sima is part of a new recruitment strategy to strengthening their youth sect-up for a bright future as they have signing talented players and loaning them to gain valuable first-team experience.

Pellistri is a young talent of Man Utd an he has been on loan at La Liga side Alaves, and Amad is 18. United explored the possibility of signing the 19-year-old Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo back in January until they withdrew due to the interference of intermediaries.

Mikel Arteta asks Arsenal board to sign 23-year-old La Liga star

Mikel Arteta has asked Arsenal to secure services of Athletic Bilbao stopper and West Ham United target Unai Simon this summer, as reported by La Razon.

The North London club, head-coach is demanding new stopper ahead of the next season as Bran Leno has struggled to stay on top level on the consistence basis.

Tormer Manchester City coach seems to have lost faith in Germany international and plans to replace him with Atletico Bilbao stopper.

Leno has always been erratic – blessed with good reflexes but with a tendency to make mistakes that hurt the Gunners club could consider his departure from the Emirates Stadium.

And, according to La Razon, the ruthless Mikel Arteta has wasted no time in telling his Gunners board to make their move for a new stopper.

The North London giants have been instructed by their head coach to place Unai Simon at the top of their shortlist.

The 23-year-old Spain international replaced Kepa Arrizabalaga at Athletic back in 2018 and since then he has been in stunning form.

Spain national team head-coach, Luis Enrique remains a huge fan of a talented shot-stopper who appears to have succeeded David de Gea.

“Unai Simon has been outstanding,” the former Barcelona boss told El Desmarque.
