Arsenal are reportedly demanding £70m for their key man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 30-year-old forward has been in fine goalscoring form this campaign, founding back of the net 14 goals in 24 Premier League games for the Gunners.
However, the Gabon international is out of the current deal with the Gunners after the end of the 2020/21 season and Inter Milan are allegedly the next team joining the race for his signature.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are to remain firm on a £70m price tag for Gabon international forward, despite the fact that the forward has allegedly turned down a new deal worth £350,000-per-week.
The report also claims that Spanish giants pursuit of Lautaro Martinez could pave the way for former Dortmund forward to make the move to Antonio Conte’s side, with Barcelona looking for replacements for the injured Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez.
Aubameyang has found back of the net 57 times in 92 games for the North London club since joining from Dortmund in 2018.
Meanwhile, Serie A giants Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez will reportedly be Barcelona’s top transfer target during this summer’s transfer window and the news will come as a huge boost for Arsenal as they have cooled interest in signing of Aubameyang.
The Spanish champions could move for a new forward over the next summer if they are granted permission to make an emergency signing following the Ousmane Dembele’s hamstring injury.
However, the Spanish giants are believed to wait until the end of the 2019-20 season to officially secure the services of a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez in the final third of the field.
The Gunners Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been heavily linked with the Spanish giants, and according to 90min, the Norht London club forward is on the Catalan club’s shortlist ahead of the summer window.
