Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly have to pay £42m if they wish to secure the services of Lazio forward Joaquin Correa during this summer’s transfer window.
The 26-year-old attacker has found back of the net 11 times and provided six assists in 38 games at club level during the 2020-21 season, while he was also in action for Copa America winners Argentina in the summer.
Tottenham and Arsenal have both been credited with an interest in the attacker, who has 30 goals and provided 18 assists in 117 appearances for Lazio since joining the White and Sky Blues from La Liga outfits Sevilla back in 2018.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Lazio are prepared to part with the South American forward this summer, however, would demand a fee of £42m for his services.
A previous report suggested that Arsenal had made a £17m offer for the Argentine attackers, which had been rejected.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old forward, who still has three years left to run on his current deal with his Serie A club.
Lazio another star Sergej Milinković-Savić has been also rumoured to switch to Premier League as Man Utd and Liverpool are considering a move for his services.
