Arsenal central midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who has been connected with moves to the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, says he will not leave Arsenal in January.
Ramsey’s deal at the Emirates will expire at the end of the campaign and the Welshman says that will be when he moves on from the Gunners.
As reported in the Independent, when questioned if he’d be staying at the Gunners for the entire 2018/19 season, Aaron said:
Aaron went on to explain that he thought he was close to signing a fresh deal but the club changed their minds, meaning Welshman’s set to become a free agent.
“Everything has been going great with the club. We thought we were in a position where we had agreed a deal, but that’s no longer the case. That’s a decision that they have made and things happen in football.”
“So I just have to carry on playing my football and do my best for Arsenal this season and I’ll leave the rest with the club now.”
