Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a January move for Championship team Nottingham Forest versatile defender Joe Worrall.
The 22-year-old centre-back who spent the 2018-19 season on loan with Scottish giants Rangers, has been an ever-present for Forest this campaign, playing every minute of their 16 Championship games.
According to Football Insider, the Gunners are admirers of the ex-England U-21 international and plan to keep close tabs on him in action against Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday night.
The report suggested that the Premier League giants desire to sign a new defender during the January transfer window to improve their saud could see them move for Worrall at the mid-point of the season, however, after the exit of Unai Emery things could go differently and North London club may look other options.
The 6ft 4in defender has also previously been rumoured with moves to another Premier League teams Burnley and Newcastle United, claiming that Forest might find it tough to keep hold of him at the start of 2020 year.
Arsenal have conceded 19 goals in their 13 Premier League games this campaign, with Sokratis and David Luiz failing to convince as a partnership at the defensive end.
With the exit of Unai Emery former Gunners player Freddie Lijunberg has been in charge at the club.
