Arsene Wenger hopeful Jose Mourinho struggles at Man United

According to the latest media reports, Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenge is hopeful that Manchester United new manager Jose Mourinho struggles in his first season at Old Trafford so that the Gunners can lead the race for the Premier League title.

The Portuguese boss will face Bournemouth in his first Premier League game as Man United manager on Sunday.

Aside of bringing Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, Man United officials have already completed the transfer of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba this summer.

Arsene Wenger is set to enter his final year of his contract at Arsenal and would love to end his time at the club with a league title.

The 66-year-old French manager says that he hopes his old foe Jose Mourinho takes time to settle at MAn United to hand the Gunners the advantage.

During his interview, Wenger said: “That’s what we have to show, that our stability gives us an edge. Jose Mourinho has come in at Man United. Will that all click very quickly or will it take some time? We don’t know.

“Sometimes it can work marvellously well, sometimes it takes time. I hope it takes time and we can take advantage of the fact that we have stability.”
