Arsene Wenger is keen on to add at least one top class striker this summer to bolster his squad for next season to face Chelsea for Premier League title and according to the reports in Recent weeks they are monitoring Napoli highly-rated flop Gonzalo Higuain.
Latest reports from Italy claim that Napoli are intent on keeping star striker Gonzalo Higuain at the club and have pointed to the shock£67million release clause in his contract to ward off any potential suitors.
Higuain signed for Napoli in 2013 from Real Madrid for £34.5m and has since scored 53 goals in 102 appearances in all competitions.
However, Serie A giants Napoli’s failure to qualify for the Champions League next season has increased the speculations about his potential move abroad to play top European competition.
