Barcelona have reportedly identified AS Monaco ace Thomas Lemar as a possible target for the summer window. For over a year, Lemar has been linked with a move to the Premier League giants like Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur being keen on the France international.
Atletico Madrid are also claimed to be monitoring the situation, but according to Sport, the Catalan club are ready to join the race for the attacker’s services.
The Spanish giants have been linked with Antoine Griezmann and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen, but the report claims that officials have already asked about a potential deal for Thomas Lemar.
The Frenchman has two years remaining on his contract at Stade Louis II, but the Ligue 1 side are expected to cash in on the 22-year-old before the start of the next campaign.
The interest from Barcelona should warn the English clubs as the La Liga outfit are keen on bolstering the attacking line to add more firepower to the team.
Meanwhile, Liverpool reportedly failed to sign Nabil Fekir as the Reds were believed to agree on a £52m deal with the Ligue 1 outfit and it remains to be seen how the failure will affect the transfer policy of Liverpool.
