Barcelona have reportedly already identified Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold as their top transfer target for the next season.

There could be further additions before the end of the window, with the Blues pair Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso believed to be targets, however, the club are also believed to be planning for the 2023 summer window.
According to Futbol Total, Barcelona will focus their attention on bringing Liverpool full-back Alexander-Arnold to Camp Nou ahead of the 2023-24 season.
The report suggests that the Catalan giants would be prepared to pay €80m (£67.3m) to secure the services of the England international defender.
Alexander-Arnold is contracted to Jurgen Klopp’s side until June 2025, and he has developed into one of the most productive attacking right-back’s in world football over the last few years.
The 23-year-old defender made his debut for the Merseyside Reds back in 2016 and has now represented the Merseyside Reds on 227 occasions, founding back of the net 13 times and 62 assists in the process.
The Englishman was again a vital player for the Reds during the 2021-22 campaign, founding back of the net twice and providing 19 assists in 47 games in all competitions.
