La Liga giants, Barcelona are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement with Spanish playmaker, Gavi over a new long-term contract amid interest from Liverpool.

However, according to COPE, the Catalan giants have made a breakthrough in talks with the Spain international and are now confident of keeping him at Nou Camp for a long-time.
The report suggests that Gavi’s agent Ivan de la Pena and Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany held talks over new contract last week.
The Spaniard is expected to sign a new deal until June 2027, while he will also substantially increase his salary, reflecting his importance at Camp Nou.
