Liverpool are allegedly planning to renew their pursuit of the Ligue 1 side Rennes forward Jeremy Doku.
The Reds strengthened their attacking ranks in the winter with the signing of Luis Diaz from the Primeira Liga giants Porto, but Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah’s long-term futures at Anfield remain unclear.
The pair are both due to become free agents next year, and the Merseysiders could be in the market for a new winger should one or both stars decide against signing extensions.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have previously been mentioned with a swoop for Les Rouge et Noir teenager and Calciomercato reports that the Premier League giants are still keeping a close eye on the 19-year-old.
Jeremy has only managed two goals and two assists from 16 matches across all competitions during an injury-hit 2021-22 term – starting just four top-flight games for Bruno Genesio’s men.
Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have also been touted with an interest in the Belgian, who has made Roberto Martinez’s roster for March’s friendlies with Burkina Faso and the Republic of Ireland.
The former Anderlecht prodigy’s existing deal with his side is not due to run out until the end of the 2024-25 term.
