Celtic attacker Liel Abada has got his eyes set on a transfer to Liverpool, only three months on from joining the Glasgow club.
Speaking to Sport5, he says he is focused on the Celts but admits he’d love to sign for the Merseyside heavyweights in the future.
“My dream was and remains to play in England, in one of the teams in the Premier League. The biggest dream is Liverpool, but I have to keep working hard here to prove myself.” the Israel international said.
The Scottish Premiership giants purchased him from Maccabi Petah Tikva for a sum in the region of £3.5 million in the summer transfer window.
They have snapped up numerous stars with ties to the Israeli game, including Efe Ambrose, Ismaila Soro, Hatem Abd Elhamed, Rami Gershon, Beram Kayal and Nir Bitton.
The 20-year-old forward has started well at the club, also contributing to six goals in eight matches in the Scottish top-flight.
Elsewhere, Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing Liverpool star Divock Origi as they attempt to strengthen their attacking options.
The Belgian forward has struggled to nail down a place in the German manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven, having made just four appearances for his team this season across all competitions.
