Yet Spanish outlet Don Balon reports that Gareth Bale doesn’t want to join Liverpool as he prefers to make a switch to Old Trafford.

The Reds’ attack is on song at present with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all operating at their top levels.

However, that is unlikely to stop Liverpool to make a move for world-class player after the end of the season.

Don Balon claims that the Los Blancos are set to offer Liverpool the chance to land the Walse internaitonal superstar in a deal that would see Salah leave the club.

However, he is believed to prefer the prospect of a move to Old Trafford or make a return to his former club Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils head-coach Mourinho has always insisted he will not sign a striker this summer.

But that may change if the club decide to sell unhappy forward Anthony Martial.

Martial is wanted by Juventus and Arsenal and afrer the end of the current campaign he could leave the club.
